Before launching Real Estate Data Dive, we were individual real estate investors trying to make decisions about where to invest based on... data. Population growth, job creation, housing costs, rents, cash flow, climate risk, landlord-favorable laws, crime, historical prices: we wanted to use it all. After weeks of collecting and standardizing and cleaning the data, we were looking for a service that would give us a clean data set to filter and sort to find the best locations to invest. But there were no solutions at the individual investor price point. Real Estate Data Dive is the solution for which we were looking.
Our mission is to provide real estate investors with the tools to select locations that reflect their priorities.
Our tool is simple: a (huge) table of data for the over 3100 counties in the US, populated with all the relevant data we could collect (and adding), with flexible filter and sort options that enable investors to play with the data and find the counties that match their preferences and risk appetite.
We are adding a charting function because history matters, and data visualisations tell a story.
